Doyle at the Whisky A Go-Go 05.25.2023

The year is 2012 and I’m 13 years old and finally finding my own taste in music. Pandora just launched and I start using it not knowing that I started a never ending musical journey. I’m listening to the Metallica radio and all of a sudden a song called “Where Eagles Dare” comes on. I went back to see the coolest symbol I’ve seen in any band and the coolest name ever: The Misfits. I was hooked immediately and in 2015 I got to see them with Jerry’s lineup but in 2022 my dream of seeing the original members came through when I flew to Chicago to see them in Riotfest near the barricade. Ever since their discovery, I thought Doyle was the coolest person to hit the scene, he looks like someone based off a comic book and has hit some of the most iconic riffs in the genre’s history. Little did I know that months later I would have the chance to shoot for Doyle’s band Doyle. Seeing him even closer than before and capturing the band’s intense energy feels like a dream come true. All that being said and done: enjoy the Doyle set.
